I am Thankful for..............Contest

Today we are celebrating Thanksgiving in the US, our Canadian friends already celebrated Thanksgiving, and I'm sure our international friends will join us in our celebrating the the things we are thankful for. Just leave a comment on this post by Friday, Dec. 4 (whoduknit members only please) telling us what you are thankful for and your name will go in a drawing for a 'thank you' surprise!

I am thankful for.....my very wonderful and supportive family, wonderful, yummy, glorious yarns and fibers, mysterious mysteries and my whoduknit friends who are like family to me!

I am thankful that I have my health back, so I can be around to see my grandson grow up. Last year I was house bound and could barely walk to the bathroom but this year I did a Turkey Trot walk just for fun.

I am thankful for plenty of good food to eat, and for a warm and comfortable and cozy house, and that I know how to read! I love reading. I'm thankful for my family and friends, and I'm very thankful for this WhoDuKnit group, which I discovered just at a time I needed it most. You're the best! I'm thankful for knitting, that somehow, mysteriously, it can bring comfort and peace and help to center you and get you calm.

Oh wow - I am thankful for the sunrise, because it means another day....and sunset because it means time to rest up for the next day. For my family - and for the fact that as they have grown, they have come to appreciate family. My health and the health of my family. A roof over our head - a job that I usually enjoy - and wonderful friends, both close and far!

Hi! I am thankful for my friends and family; for knitting; for vision that allows me to read and knit and do so many other things easily and when I want to.

This year I am singularly grateful that a medical condition (sleep apnea) that was literally ruining my life was suspected, diagnosed, and effectively treated. (I am always grateful for my loving husband, and given what a mess I was mid-year, I'm grateful to have maintained well enough to keep my terrific job.)

I see Aunt Kathy had a similar experience this year. Wonderful!
