Welcome

Welcome bloggers to the Killer Knitalong. This is a knitalong for mystery readers and crafters. Taken from the concept of Knit The Classics, we're a mystery book club and a knitalong. We'll read one book a month together and knit or craft a project with the theme of that book in mind.

But before we start reading and knitting and crafting away, we need a proper name for our community. So the admins here are going to host a contest to come up with a name for us. Entries should be left in the comments section of this blog by Friday, June 16. Killer Knitalong is just one of the names we've come up with, but we've decided to let the readers decide which one they like best and to see which ones they can come up with.

There will be a first prize along with 2 runner ups. Prizes will be deteremined within the next week. Any questions?

How about "Mysterious Yarns KAL"?
Yarns could be either knitting or stories, so I think it applies...

How about "Who Darn It?" or "Who Done Knit?" Sounds corny but maybe we could play on those words. Anyway, I love the idea. Hope I can keep up.
