October and November Whoduknits

It was neck and neck in the poll all the way! Our October mystery will be the second in Maggie Sefton's series, Needled to Death, and our November mystery will be
The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle. So head to your local library, your local bookstore or log on to Amazon.com and get ready to read and knit!

Hello Everyone! I have finally taken photos of my Knit One, Kill Two project. I kept thinking about the colors in the House of Lambspun yarn shop and decided on this colorful ribbon. My beautiful model is Star, my 11 year old lab/rottie mix baby. She was more than willing to wear the scarf for me.

The second one is a closeup of the colors and details. I have also put them on the WhoDuKnit yahoo group too.

I have finished with the second in the series and only three chapters away from being finished with the third book. I can't wait for the fourth one to hit the shelves.

Happy Knitting!

Some Whoduknit Reminders

Mystery Ball SP names have all been sent out. If you signed up and did not receive your "victim's" name, please let me know.

Don't forget to vote for the October book here
The book with the most votes will be our October book, and the one with the second most will be our November book. That way, you will all have plenty of time to
find a copy.

Projects for Knit One, Kill Two are not due until October 15, so you
still have plenty of time to knit and post your project.
If you are not registered to post on this blog and have not received your invitation
to join, please send me an e-mail. Also, let me know if you want
your name linked to your blog.

Hope you have had a chance to do some knitting and reading this weekend!

Knit One, Kill Two Project

I just started the project last night, and I doubt it will be done by the end of the month!

The raspberry sweater was mentioned so much (In both books, I think) that when my mother-in-law gave me a huge amount of Raspberry Boucle, I felt I had to do it. It's also the first project I have sewn with the intent of keeping for myself, so I am excited about that.

I am not a petite woman, so it may take a while...

My Knit One, Kill Two scarf

I am posting my project picture here because after 2 tries on the yahoo site, it was easier to post it here.

I Finished reading the book Knit One, Kill Two by Maggie Sefton and also finished my project. Since I am really new at knitting I tried my hand at knitting a scarf. If any character in the book were to wear this it would probably be Jennifer. I just loved the ribbons coming out with this yarn. It really was easy to work with. The yarn was called Breeze. And that reminded me of Jennifer's spirit and attitude.

I got my hubby to model it! He is the one hiding behind the book!!
