Whoduknit Mystery Yarn Contest

A Whoduknit Mystery "Yarn"

It was a beautiful sunny day and Ms. Duknit was admiring the beautiful zucchini in her garden when she noticed an adorable little skein of yarn among the leaves. She immediately picked it up and cuddled the lovely goodness in her arms. There was no identification on the poor thing and she had no idea how it had landed in her garden, what it's name was, or who it belonged to. She knew this was a job for the Whoduknit KAL Squad!

Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to find out the identity (colorway and number) of the yarn, and where it came from (manufacturer) The sleuth who correctly identifies the yarn gets to adopt it. Your new little darling will arrive in her own tote bag along with care and feeding instructions in "The Little Box of Scarves" so you can help your little skein grow up to be a lovely, warm, caring, member of your family. If more than one sleuth guesses correctly, there will be a drawing to determine the winner. Want to play? Here are the rules:

You must be a member of Whoduknit to play. If you are not a member yet you can sign up now! You will receive one clue each day for five days beginning, Monday, August 14 and ending on Friday, August 18. The clues will be posted on the Message Board After the last clue is posted on Friday, you will have one week to e-mail me at grammieknits@yahoo.com with your guess. You will only get one guess, so be sure to wait until you have all of the clues. On Monday, August 28, I will announce the winner. Look for your first clue on Monday!

Mystery's cozychicks!

Hi. Thought everyone here might be interested in this website: http://cozychicks.blogspot.com. This is a website written by several of the mystery writers (Diana Killian, Karen MacInerney, Michele Scott, Maggie Sefton, and Heather Webber). Maggie Sefton has a third book out. I still have to read her first two, but I will be ordering the new one from Amazon. Too many books to read, never enough time.
